Beautiful small park to hang out. There isn't much seating but the grass lawn is very comfortable. During summer months you can just sit and watch the sunset and relax and this spot has been a source of many fantastic sunset photographs for me. There is a small picnic area on the right side of the park which sometimes is occupied but thankfully never noisy.
Fun place to swim in the lake or just lay/sot down under the trees to read a book or enjoy the hot summer. This place is not full of kids like the Mariner so it's more adult feel. However their restrooms suck, very old and no mirror even in the Ladie's.
Am Herr for the first time in the early morning and it's a great atmosphere! Perfect relaxation (if you don't mind the noise from the street behind you ;) ).
I went during sunset hours. There were clouds in the sky with the sun in between, which made it a perfect backdrop for photos. It looked gorgeous. The park was relatively small with some picnic tables in it and a dock, but no playground. It was right by Lake Washington.
Bit of grass by the lake. Small gravel beach and a dock. Has a bench or two. Small parking lot, but street parking isn't bad usually.
