Cute little park. The off leash area is very nice,clean with Benches and lots of shade in summer. Footing is great (wood chips). People have mentioned that the gates don't fully close which I agree but if you're taking your dog to a dog park they should be under voice control so if your dog isn't listening dog parks might not be the best. When we went every owner was paying attention to the dogs and eliminated any risk of dogs fighting.
What a great park! The paths to get to the dog park and so fun and authentic, and the enclosed dog park is beautiful. The only thing I would change would be the gates....they aren't super secure... But otherwise a great park with so many areas to explore.
This place exceeded my expectations. Maybe because Im used to small dog parks (with the exception of Marymoor) that have sand or gravel. This place has wood chips and lots of paths the dogs can run around on. Highly recommend if you live nearby!
So much better than before. The trails are well marked and easy to traverse. The off-leash dog park is completely different than other parks. More of a trail system with a larger running area. Great job Kirkland and Thank You for the excellent renovation.
Great public park nestled in the middle of Kirkland! Long, windy, (mostly) elevated trails complete with off-leash dog areas and a shallow creek as well. This newly-renovated park is really clean, has water fountains and a nice clean bathroom. Before or after your trail time, there is a small playground for the kiddos. Parking in the surrounding neighborhood is free, and the park is just a few minutes off the freeway.
