Expect slow service and delicious pizza. I'm a little torn on not making this a 5 star review simply because the speed of the service. One might say that good things take time, but I suspect that organization might have something to do with the slow service. If they just adjusted my expectations I'd be fine. Take out pizza, advising me it would be 20mins, and it actually taking 40. Again to their credit, the pizza is perfectly cooked to my tastes. The toppings stay on, the sauce is delightful (especially since there are a lot of places making their sauce too sweet).
We are temporarily living in the area and have ordered from Calzone several times now. We've never been disappointed. They are generous with toppings and cheese on their pizzas, their salads are fresh and crisp, and the lasagna and meatballs are both amazing! We wish we could take Calzone back to Toronto with us! Edited to add that all the various delivery people we have had from Calzone have been very friendly! You have to wait a long time for a delivery order on a Friday or a Saturday night, but they're upfront about it when you order.
Waited over an hour for a small pizza and a fry, on site might I add. The staff showed no care .And we're more than happy to chat it up in the kitchen .six people in the kitchen and they could only turn out a single pizza per minute .A complete joke.Maybe someone should tell them that they are on the West island and there are many other/better pizza joints around. They will from now on get my money
Tasty calzones. Vast selection of ingredients. Wait time is however a little long so do bear that in mind if you're choosing this spot for lunch. Staff is very friendly. Location is convenient: right off highway 40. Parking area has plenty of space. Would highly recommend this place.
Exquisite experience trying calzone for the first time surrounded by rock/music memorabilia. Me and my friend were lucky enough to meet manager and talk for a while about Frank Marino, the pictures on the wall, and their stories. Will surely be coming back form more pasta when I'm around West island.
